As I reflect on my 38-year business career, highlights include building relationships, developing trust, leveraging teamwork, all centered around contributing to the success of the financial institutions and large organizations I have the privilege of serving. Backed by an incredible support team at Deluxe, together we help customers succeed in the areas of payments, marketing data and execution, brand management, and business and consumer check program services. I enjoy helping my team win, on both a professional and personal level. Whether winning is sharing success with teammates closing a new business partnership or working together to conquer a multi-day mountain biking adventure, a grueling hike (like the picture above, Superstition Ridgeline Tail), or scuba diving amazing waters in different part of the world, teamwork is the key to my success. In addition, I enjoy volunteering with the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy located in Scottsdale, Arizona. With 30,500 acres and over 225 miles of recreational trails (hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian) my volunteer time is focused primarily on mountain bike patrol or construction and maintenance. I am the proud father of two thriving, young adults, Katherine who enjoys a fulfilling career at a senior care facility in Newberg, OR and Jason who is a research and instructional professor at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
