As a Production Engineering Manager I have the opportunity to be involved in some of the most interesting and exciting projects. Promoting a positive team mentality and creating a positive environment is extremely important to me as it gives my team the opportunity to operate in the most effective and efficient manner. Having a multidisciplinary team with so much experience and knowledge allows me to draw on the best elements of myself and my team while promoting a solid team working environment. The opportunity to lead and manage a team while developing unique engineering solutions isn’t always easy but allows us to be pushed to our limits while still enjoying the job.Having a foundation in assembly and test through my apprenticeship and the academic background of my degree paired with lean six sigma and management/ leadership training means I have developed the skills I need to ensure I lead my team to success no matter what challenge is presented, failure is not an option in my team, solutions are the key.
