In this role I am responsible for developing all aspects of axle design and packaging. Time is spent collaborating with DREs in both prototype & production phases.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:- Accountable for the package, design, and detail of axle and differential assemblies using NX- Partners with Program Managers, Engineers, and other team members to improve manufacturing efficiency- Collaborates cross-functionally in Product Development meetings- Delivers results according to program time frames, often ahead of schedule- Maintains continuing education, staying current with industry trends and training requirements, most recently attending a 3-day GD&T workshop

As an integrated, on-site designer at GM, in this role I represented the supplier in all aspects of plastics and packaging. Time was spent collaborating with DREs prior to and after jobs were awarded.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:- Responsible for the package, design, and detail of Engine Conver Assemblies using Unigraphics- Partnered with Program Managers to improve manufacturing efficiency- Generated stereolithography files, resulting in parts being developed for "mock-up"- Active participant in CIT and Product Development meetings, Tech Reviews, and Grain Approvals- Collaborated with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and fellow designers, solidifying relationships, forming partnerships, and gaining feedback around active and future design platforms- Delivered results according to program time frames, often ahead of schedule- As the US representative of Exo-s at GM, acted as a liaison within the business partnership, ensuring a solid, trusting, productive relationship was maintained- Responsible for winning 50+ programs in the past 18 years- Maintained continuing education, remaining current with industry trends and training requirements

In this role, I was contracted to GM, working at the Warren Tech Center as part of GM Powertrain.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:- Mark Engine Group Design, specializing in Engine Dress Parts- Air Charge Group Design, specializing in Engine Cover Design- Collaborated and worked in conjunction with Engineers, fellow Designers, and various Platform Teams to deliver outcomes according to designated time frames

In this role at AMI Engineering, while a GM Contract Employee, I was able to coach, lead, and train GM Powertrain designers, educating them on the latest and upcoming releases for Unigraphics software.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:- Responsible for knowing and teaching the most up-to-date information around Unigraphics, maintaining the role of Subject Matter Expert- Created curriculum applicable to adult learner with various skill sets and knowledge levels- Developed and delivered training materials relating to Unigraphics- Taught 40 students daily over the course of this role

In this role, my group was contracted to GM Powertrain to create and maintain Engine Master Models.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:- Designed Engine Master Models as part of the GM Powertrain Group- Converted 2D drawings to 3D layouts- Interviewed potential new-hires, maintaining needed head count for program expansion / needs- Design lead, maintaining open communication and collaboration around program needs and deadlines
