I worked for Duynie UK in Castleford which is part of the Cosun group, a company from Holland. Planning the collection and delivery of co-product from food and drink manufacturers across the UK for delivery to Farms as feed for their cattle. This is a very high intensity supply driven transport department which may get orders on the day for same day.

During my time at Howdens I was the night shift Transport Planner making sure all deliveries and trailer swaps ran smoothly as well as tackling any issues that would arise throughout the night. I also had to re-plan loads if they over-spilled their tonnage on the allocated vehicle and dealt with all paperwork, driver issues and also any foreign drivers.
