At the heart of my journey now is Guided App, a platform born from a vision to seamlessly connect adventure seekers with professional guides for the most authentic and enriching outdoor professionally guided experiences. As its founder, I lead the Guided team with a mission to make every adventure safe, accessible and sustainable, ensuring that the beauty of the wild is preserved for generations to come.My commitment to environmental education and conservation is further reflected in my roles across several organisations. As a Trustee for Countryside Learning Scotland, I support to educate and inspire young minds about the importance and joy of the countryside and support rural careers development. My role as an Ambassador for the Atlantic Salmon Trust allows me to champion the cause of one of nature’s most remarkable creatures, advocating for its protection and the health of our rivers and seas. Holding accountable the science for betterment of the ecosystems salmon migrate through. At the helm of the CASTABROAD Collective, I lead a creative team dedicated to harnessing the power of digital for the benefit of those that work outdoors. The Collective’s work is not just about creating things; it’s about fostering a deeper connection with the environment and promoting a responsible, ethical approach to outdoor comms. And at WITR, we use simple tech to help event attendees find out ‘Who’s In The Room?’ It’s built for introverts.
