I have the privilege of serving the people of Scotland in ensuring we have a safe and continuous supply of high quality blood, tissues and cell therapies and services for the whole of Scotland.

My current role as National Quality Manager for the Blood Service sees me utilise my knowledge of quality management frameworks and also the Australian and international regulatory settings. I am responsible for the Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Learning & Development functions. In this role, I utilise my abilities in setting the vision and direction, building a capable and collaborative team, and driving cultural change within the organisation.

Responsible for donor & product safety functions. Undergoing significant process review to ensure cost effective, streamlined processes within the Medical Services function

Responsible for Quality Assurance functions, including liaising with the TGA and ensuring multiple site licenes are maintained, and any new site licenses obtained.

Responsible for the Qaulity Assurance and Quality Control teams. Redesigned and implemented new Quality Management Systems.
