I have 15 years in the insurance industry ranging from modelling ( Prophet, Moses, MG-Alfa), working on numerous projects for internal model approval in particular solvency 2, business planning ( enhancing cashflows to shareholders) and pricing new business for sunlife.My skill set is very wide spread from reporting type roles including delivering valuation results, running models, model development and updating assumptions. I've worked on various projects which I've spent 5 years. These included profit and loss for analysis of surplus and solvency 2. I have also been on an 8 month secondment in the Asset Liability team to enhance my skill set. I learnt a lot from this in a short space of time ranging from protecting policyholder returns to enhancing or protecting shareholder value.I’ve worked in the new business pricing team for Sunlife protection business. I was responsible for conducting regular experience analysis of our new business pricing and delivering accurate MI. I also review pricing rates for premium setting.I’ve now moved into a wider MI reporting team where I’m responsible for the delivery and presentation of group MI on our pensions and savings business. I’m also responsible for delivering projects on new products and other efficiency enhancements into our MI. .
