In 2011 I started my Auto Electrical apprenticeship at Hooleys Autospark. After my apprenticeship Kevin ( my dad ) and I purchased a Autospark Franchise for the location of Canning Vale. We opened this store in July 2005, We carried out the show room and workshop fit out as required.While at this location we employed our first 2 apprentices and started to develop a loyal customer base.We stayed at this location for 6 years and until a suitable location was available.The next 6 years had there ups and downs with the being some national accounts allowing us to employ a further 6 apprentices during the time, the downs point was the GFC.End 2017 the most impressive location became available, It was a big move, Location was 40% bigger, 50% bigger show room, and a move coming into the busiest par of the year ( mid October). We completed the move and showroom fit out in 3 days. Or 45sqm sign went up end of October and we rolled into November excited for what was to come. November rolled through and ended up being our biggest month ever in 12 years, as the months went on we were able to see improvements on the months from the year before.March 2019 I was offered a share in the Autospark Franchise that I happily took the opportunity up.May 2019 we purchased a second location in Myaree, This added another 4 team members to our team. We carried out a full refit on the location inside and out and Kept all the staff.October 2019 we added a mechanic to out team to help out level of service to our customers. So as of December 2019 we have 5 tradesman Auto electricians, 5 Apprentice Auto electricians, 1 Mechanic, 2 accounts, 1 Trades assistant.With still some big plans to roll out it will be busy times ahead.
