I am an apprenticeship served fully qualified Approved Electrician with over 20 years experience, I currently manage a team of electricians maintaining and upgrading around 50 buildings as well as 100+ residential properties, This includes carrying out EICR’s, reactive maintenance, PPM works, Fire alarm testing and alterations, Emergency lighting testing and repairs, Full emergency lighting inspections, Heating systems, Lighting upgrades, Distribution board upgrades and general alterations / upgrades to installations. I also currently manage a small team of building services technicians who carry out all compliance work across the campus. I am the principle duty holder and qualified supervisor for the NICEIC, Part of my current role also includes filling out test forms, using excel for different spreadsheets, managing budgets, obtaining quotes and ordering materials for jobs, I am a very capable person who is willing to learn new skills and work with others as part of a team, however I am equally confident working alone using my own initiative. Previously I also worked as a kitchen fitter for just over a year where I learnt kitchen/bathroom fitting plus basic plumbing skills and general building. I have also fully renovated 3 houses.
