I am responsible for certifying all employees with their respirators and maintaining their yearly training and fit testing.Managing our compliance calendar which covers all of the companies plants from the West to East Coast. Track all corrective actions which result from Incident Reviews, and ensure that these items are being done in a timely manner.Distribute two monthly safety tests to all departments and grade them to track on excel documents. We are able to use these tests to stay on top of training needed for homeland security, EPA, OSHA, and DOT. Maintain and update all tracking of scrubber logs and equipment and area checks.Conduct the bi monthly safety audits and compile all information to distribute throughout the plant. This turns into corrective actions, work orders, and room for continuous improvement through the process being done and 5's.Send out reminders to a handful of plants around the US for their respirator testing, and tank labeling. And ensure that all regulations are being followed and up to date. Conduct Incident Investigations and compile information so that we can go over corrective actions with the Incident Review Board. This includes monitoring and reviewing incidents which take place in the other plants as well. We work together as a safety team at revising SOP's each year so I have been involved in revising some of these also. We are a fairly large chemical manufacture dealing with hundreds of different chemicals on site.Act as a contact for the companies other plants to provide EHS support.

It is my responsibility to make sure that all products are signed for and the paperwork entered into the ORACLE system which helps us keep track of what is in the warehouse and re-orders products once we take them out of the system.

I worked for this government contractor during the disposal process of nerve and blister agents with the responsibility of monitoring the air during this process. It was my responsibility to work with the lab in testing dilute agents in ACAM and MINICAM machines which would also be used to calibrate the machines to know what amounts they needed to be testing for. The testing tubes that we used were DAAMS tubes and we would use an air monitor to check the reading. These tubes we would collect and replace then take to the lab for further testing.
