Craig is responsible for the overall direction and policy-setting for the use of technology (IT/OT) within MMG and for planning and defining major technology initiatives to support MMG business strategies. Key accountabilities are:1. Business Engagement: provide a two-way, single point of contact for the business into the IT organisation; maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders; understand business strategies and priorities; prioritise activities and new business demands; report IT project and service performance with support from the Delivery Groups.2. Strategy and Planning: translate the Group and business strategies and priorities into a set of technology strategies and projects that are feasible and in line with the enterprise architecture; define the 3 year technology investment plan.3. Innovation: actively maintain an understanding of innovative technology developments relevant to MMG; facilitate the use of new technologies to support business innovation and competitive advantage.4. Enterprise Architecture: develop and maintain MMG’s overall technology architecture and governance standards; seek opportunities to improve performance and efficiency; actively support project teams to understand and implement defined architectures.5. Security, Compliance and Risk: set policy and manage security and compliance across all technology applications and infrastructure; identify, analyse, and report on potential risks and threats in MMG’s technology landscape.

In this role I had accountability for leading the Architecture practice across all UXC Business Units. Specific accountabilities included:- Provision of client advisory services in the areas of IT Strategy development, Enterprise Architecture definition and roadmaps; Business Case Development- Guidance and advice to the UXC Business Units on the development of Architecture capabilities and services.- Leading the development of UXC responses for major market opportunities (client RFPs / RFIs >$30M)- Monitoring market trends, opportunities and areas of growth through networking and research.- Identification and recommendations to UXC Executive (Group CEO and BU CEOs) on services and partnerships.

In this role I had responsibility for the successful delivery of all IT projects at Australia Post from engagement during the business case development to project close. This is a direct report to the Chief Information Officer and a member of Post IT’s Senior Management Team (SMT).

SAP was selected by Post as the strategic technology backbone for both Post’s back office and customer facing business systems. In this role I had responsibility for the managing a core team of 80 employees and 50 - 100 contractors (dependent on project demand). Services provided included Architecture, Project Delivery and Application Support.
