Recently, I pivoted to the industry side of healthcare hoping to make a bigger difference in more lives for patients with Glioblastoma and other CNS malignancies. I have extensive experience prescribing and treating patients with Novocure's Optune Tumor Treating Fields therapy since 2015. I joined Novocure as the new Medical Director/Head of Medical Affairs for the US CNS Franchise in September 2022 leading the MSL team and providing physician engagement and education.I am a Radiation Oncologist with over 17 years of experience who specializes in the treatment and care of people with malignant cancers and certain benign conditions of the body. My training began at the University of Miami School of Medicine (UMSM) and continued at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Sylvester Cancer Center at UMSM for Residency.After my residency, I joined Atlanta Oncology Associates and continued to be a part of this state-of-the-art practice for over 17 years. My experiences in Radiation Oncology include Prostate, Breast, Thoracic, Central Nervous System, Gastrointestinal, Gynecological, and Lymphoid malignancies with focused experience using Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy, Brachytherapy, Stereotactic Radiation Therapy, and Superficial Radiation Therapy techniques. I have coordinated clinical staff, office staff, and patient care in our offices including recruitment and hiring, staff management, and team building. My time in practice has demonstrated tremendous and sustained growth due to aggressive marketing strategies and competent/compassionate patient care.
