Nurturing existing and developing new business relationships within the Hub FM, PF2, SPVs and wider Commercial FM sectors bringing together a blend of operational experience and bankable sector expertise that promotes Robertson FM's service delivery philosophy. Taking projects from bidding through to financial close by working closely with the Commercial Team to ensure FM pricing and lifecycle costing is commensurate with building designs and Funders TA requirements.

I'm tasked with developing strategic relationships with existing and new clients in the Commercial FM sector bringing together multi-site Retail FM and PFI experience to develop FM services and strategies that add value and support client Asset Management strategies.

I'm responsible for effectively securing and efficiently bidding and new FM contracts for Hard, Soft and Total FM services presenting a dependable professional FM service to our clients which also showcases the opportunities of working with the Robertson brand of companies which provide an 'Invest Build Maintain' capability. I ensure the clients needs and objectives are correctly interpreted within the submission and successfully mobilised and delivered. I undertake the pricing and ensure commercial risks are realistic for the scale of the Project.

Subcontracted to GS Hall I successfully delivered the Hard FM services on the Amey Schools Contract for Edinburgh Schools PFI, developed new business in the retail sector and whilst seconded to Midlothian Council worked as an Estates Manager with a budget of £3M to manage their multi site public buildings lifecycle and maintenance expenditure whilst also managing their Helpdesk Call Centre for the Council's care for the elderly and CCTV room for the town centre.

Working as a Regional Asset Manager with a large diverse portfolio I was responsible for £1M budget and provided a blend of professional services that built upon my surveying degree. This included:• Ensuring building structures, M&E and other plant, fabrics, finishes and décor were maintained to the Clients high standard identifying lifecycle works and submitting robust capex proposal forms for sign off, this included replacing all 50 year old Boilers at Sauchie Hall Street Littlewoods £100K, BMS installation at Stirling Littlewoods £40K, roof replacement Paisley £20K etc.., all undertaken to comply with Project Agreement and Output Specifications to ensure a safe and acceptable environment for staff and students personnel and safeguard the asset for ongoing business.• To provide adequate support and cost effective services to cover all sites with 24 hour Emergency Services in order to ensure any break down of services i.e. fire, flood, power failure, break- ins etc, are actioned promptly by specialist contractors with minimum disruption to ensure continuation of services.• To carry out planned maintenance surveys of sites and prepare specifications for building repairs and refurbishment works. Obtain Approvals, Local Authority, Planning, and Building Fire Officers Approvals where applicable.• To prepare budget proposals, cost projections, project estimates for lifecycle replacement works to ensure maintenance works were completed within budget allocation.• Project Managing and co-ordinating technical staff across Atkins for small to medium and large Projects and lifecycle works for the Employment Services using specially tailored Atkins project management software.

Working as a Regional Asset Manager with a large diverse portfolio of around 150 sites I was responsible for a Total FM Contract for the Employment Services managing the performance of national contractors such as Mitie, GS Hall, Integral and OCS as well as leading professional regional technical teams to deliver estate variations across the Scottish region.The role involved monthly performance meetings ensuring KPIs were met and identifying service performance trends and taking action to quickly resolve any negative impacts. The role involved a significant amount of project and relationship management co-ordinating fee based professional technical Atkins staff ensuring their time was effectively used to implement projects such as MES (Modernising Employment Services) to improve frontline services.I was also responsible co-ordinating the technical staff across for small, medium and larger works using specifically tailored Atkins project management software to manage numerous projects at the same time.

I worked as a site engineer responsible for land surveys, setting out, ground works and minor civils projects.
