Transitioned from consultant to employed member of primary care executive team while leading primary care service line transformation efforts for 14 clinics in the HealthEast Care System. Expanded role to include 40 metro clinics through system merger with Fairview in 2018.• Led development of patient access strategy, including design, development, implementation, and improvement of a single scheduling model, successfully unifying four separate access and scheduling approaches, which drove increased efficiency of scheduling, provider utilization, revenue, and patient satisfaction.• Designed, deployed, and supported a comprehensive suite of access reporting tools, driving continuous improvement and achieving consistent 100% schedule utilization. Reporting tools were successfully expanded from primary care to all ambulatory specialty areas.• Rapidly implemented virtual care access for patients in response to COVID-19, managing growth of virtual care from less than 1% to over 25%.• Designed and led process changes to support successful centralization of scheduling function, enabling 24 x 7 scheduling access while reducing overall staffing costs and agent training time by over 50%.• Strengthened ongoing partnership between operations, internal Epic (electronic medical record) team and central contact center to align and optimize scheduling system configuration, decreasing average call duration by 20%, increasing scheduling accuracy by 15%, and expanding patient self-scheduling options.• Led “customer experience” performance dimension for primary care in the LEAN management system, driving ~ 7% increase in LTR (likely to recommend) metric in 2023.• Coached over eight service line executive leaders and 20 project teams in program management and LEAN strategy deployment, enabling expedited response to improvement opportunities.
