I started my career in Providence Health System as a "front line" primary care provider for over a decade. I then migrated into management and leadership roles that included medical group management, clinical program development, and market leader for a statewide integrated health system. My final role in Providence was corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer reporting to the CEO of the large west coast health system. I then moved into an executive coaching and consultant role before becoming the Chief Medical Officer for The Portland Clinic, a physician owned multispecialty clinic. I then moved into community clinics as the Chief Medical Officer for Waterfall Community Health Center in rural Coos County, Oregon. I have also enjoyed serving on boards and community outreach work focused on transforming healthcare and inequities.
