• Ensuring that all bespoke beds are made according to customer requirements and made to a very high standard.
• Reduce wasted labour, re-working of products (right first time) and reduce throughput time. Improving efficiency in all areas.
• Implement quality control checks throughout complete production stages to ensure errors or fabric issues are caught before items are given to skilled personnel for finishing.
• Continual product development with in-house CAD design team which I manage.
• Implement and maintain health and safety practices in all areas ensuring PPE is used.

• Supply
• Order and maintain inventory ensuring that we always had the correct levels of stock and no shortages.
• Liaise with suppliers about current and new products, costs, timings etc.
• Meet with current and new suppliers to ensure we are getting the best products on the market at a good price. Update them on any issues we have had with the product or service.
• Reporting of any discrepancies, damages, faults to suppliers so replacements or credit can be issued.
• Make sure a monthly stock take was completed efficiently and correctly to ensure monthly figures are correct using Sage.

• Deputise for the Stockroom Manager in their absence.
• Complete regular job chats, return to work interviews and plan staff coverage for the department.
• Supervise perpetual stock taking, check off internal and direct supplier deliveries then input onto Futura and report any discrepancies.
