I have a passion for helping organisations and individuals achieve their full potential. I believe that ALL work should be engaging, stimulating and meaningful. My goal is to help clients to create an environment where this is possible, whatever sector they operate in.I am convinced that helping employees to see, understand and interact with their organisation’s 'Big Picture’ is a significant enabler in creating an engaging and purposeful work experience for them. Since 1999, The Big Picture People (formerly BigPicture Learning) has helped hundreds of large and blue chip clients share their big pictures with their people. Our unique approach combines visualisation, gamification, social learning and conversation. We create ‘lightbulb moments’ of realisation for employees as they are fully immersed in their organisation’s big picture, often for the first time. The result is employees who are more engaged, feel more passionate about their work, make better decisions and ultimately contribute more.Working with my team of talented consultants, designers and developers, I typically work directly with our clients’ internal communications teams, organisational development specialists, learning and development professionals, human resource leaders, technical experts and other senior decision-makers.I bring over 25 years of experience of working as a line manager, Learning and Development professional, OD Consultant and business owner. I am a member of the Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) and co-lead the IoIC Newcastle and North East Hub.When not working, I am a keen runner who ran all of the six World Marathon Majors (Boston, London, New York, Chicago, Berlin and Tokyo) between 2010 and 2014. I have also completed over 500 parkruns since 2010. I am a keen cyclist and walker and, in 2008, I trekked to the summit of Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa).I am also interested in charity trustee and non-executive director opportunities within the North East of the UK.
