- Responsible for technical aspects of small domestic appliance line up for North America including Electrolux and Frigidaire product lines.- Worked directly with marketing, sales and group design to develop new products for our N.A. Region.- Guided product care group to make modifications that improve function or quality of existing products.- Acts as liaison with legal group for all floorcare and SDA patent and clearance activities.- Represented Eureka brand as technical expert in commercial and print ads for the "Eureka Airspeed Ultra" direct TV promotion.- Developed demo to hold a Mazda Miata in the air using a Eureka Airspeed Ultra vacuum for direct to TV promotion.

- Responsible for engineering group which develops Eureka and Electrolux branded floor care product concepts- The concept development group is responsible to provide a working concept that meets all performance, cost and timing goals for the project.- Manages CAE activities within the floorcare group- Develops cost model and estimation for new products and provides cross functional support for business case alignment- Works with marketing and industrial design groups to align and execute project goals- Acts as liaison with legal department for all floorcare related patent activities- Helps develop new standards and procedures- Works with secondary development group in Shanghai, China

- Development team member for the Eureka Airspeed Suction / Seal and Airspeed One platforms- Took a lead role to ensure that all design actions were tracked and executed for a successful product launch- Worked with development team in China to make final adjustments for product launch- Aided in development of Cyclonic dust cup improvements- Took an active role in the test lab and executed engineering level testing leading up to final verification- Utilized Unigraphics for design tasks

- Managed design group responsible for heavy duty truck engine cooling product design and development- Group responsible for developing and maintaining of design standards- Utilized resources in India for development cost optimization- Implemented global advanced engineering technologies locally- Responsible for the engineering prototype shop and all related activities- Prototype department built customer prototypes and one off parts for small production runs- Provided parts and worked directly with Ford, Chrysler, BMW, Peterbilt, Volvo Truck, Mack Truck and Freightliner vehicles.- After becoming manager, took the shop from the worst in plant "5S" score to awarded best in plant in 4 months time.- Provided production support for emergency stockout situations- Built test fixtures supporting local test center facility- Managed 8 employees including engineers and technicians

- Managed all customer projects related to the engine cooling systems for PACCAR, and Volvo Truck North America- Was the lead Program Manager for an 18 million dollar development project for the PACCAR truck cooperation.- Performed project support cooperating with all levels of management, engineering personnel and staff to coordinate customer projects, resolve problems, and communicate project status.- Lead independent problem solving projects with cross-functional groups.

- Overall responsible for product development of engine cooling components for Volvo Truck North America.- Lead an Engineering team responsible for design, heat transfer calculations, cost calculations, DFMEA, DFA and validation testing of components.- Primary engineering contact for engine cooling needs for Volvo Truck N.A.

- Responsible for John Deere and Caterpillar Tractor Accounts - Responsible for component design.- Coordinated pre-series builds, prototypes, part ordering, series launches with manufacturing facility, support production process.- Cost Reduction focus for series parts- Utilized Pro/Engineer for design related tasks

- Responsible for John Deere 7000, 8000, and 9000 series engine cooling design.- Coordinated engineering activities with relevant support groups within the company, with customer and component suppliers.
