Dr. Barkley develops and implements treatment programs for patients with such conditions as cancer, incontinence, impotence, and kidney disease.A graduate of Indiana State University, Dr. Barkley earned his Bachelor of Science with honors before pursuing his Doctor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing his medical coursework, Dr. Craig Barkley completed an internship in internal medicine at Blodgett Hospital and St. Mary’s Health Care in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before serving as a Resident in general surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center.Certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Barkley communicates with medical professionals through memberships in the American Urological Association, the Florida Urological Society, the Southeast Section of the American Urological Association, and the American Association of Clinical Urologists, Inc. In addition, Dr. Barkley participates in the Pinellas County Medical Association.An interest in uro-oncology prompted Dr. Barkley to develop his skills in procedures such as robotic prostatectomy and laproscopic nephrectomy. Dr. Barkley also offers assistance with incontinence treatments for men, such as male slings, and women’s treatments, including pubovaginal slings.
