Travel Beyond is a photo safari consulting business based in Minnesota, founded by my South Africa-born mother and Minnesota-born father as the first company of its kind in 1975. Our consultants hold deep knowledge, more than 150 years of combined expertise in planning travel to Africa and independent travel advice from thousands of hours on the ground vetting camps, lodges and activities in Africa. Outside of Africa, Travel Beyond specializes in South America, Southeast Asia, Australia and India.

I was the Naviagtor and Operations Office on a nuclear powered fast attack submarine stationed in Pearl Harbor. In this role, I was responsible for navigation, ships operations, radio, security, and officer training. I left the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander.

Served on USS Columbus (SSN 762) and USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740G)

I represented major Naval commands in the human resource process.

I taught 100 level mathematics courses (Calculus, College Algebra, etc) at a satellite campus of a large university. I taught night courses while working a desk-job for the Navy in-between submarine assignments.
