About Craig Bertram
I am a lecturer in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Central Lancashire with a background in neurobiology and electrophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases. I lecture across postgraduate and undergraduate MPharm and biosciences degrees, including neurophysiology, but also cardiovascular phys/pharm, endocrinology, musculoskeletal physiology, immunology, and more. I also deliver classes and workshops on data handling, statistics, pharmaceutical calculations, and writing skills. I have strong computer skills, including work in Matalb, R, plus ImageJ and CED Spike2/Signal macro languages. Alongside my research topics, my goal is to explore alternative research models and sustainable science.

- Established whole cell patching in motor cortex of anaesthetised mice using the autopatch technology from Georgia Institute of Technology and investigated its viability for whole cell recording in deep subcortical.
