Craig was born and raised in Zimbabwe and has spent much of his time in the bush, immersed among the wildlife that fuels his career and passion for painting. Craig’s paintings have since gone on to break auction records, join prestigious collections, and support a variety of charities including the donation of “Earth, Wind and Fire” to the Pentagon with all proceeds going to support wounded veterans. In addition to his artistic ability, Craig is known for his dedication to various causes. He actively donates paintings for auction to raise funds for foundations which share his passion and devotion. In 2010, Craig teamed up with the American Red Cross to spearhead a program called “Art from the Heart”. The program was based out of Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and aimed to teach soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan to paint as a form of therapy. Craig took a year off his own work to focus on the program and was later awarded the 2010 Humanitarian Award by the Red Cross for his tireless dedication to the program.
