Windows Infrastructure Specialist, with a solid broad range of skills with an in-depth understanding of Windows Technologies, Hosted and On-Premise system integration. Strong abilities of Scoping, designing, planning, implementing and overall leadership of key initiatives where solutions are openly shared, training other team members with clear communication and direction throughout.BAU: Plan and develop BAU maintenance plans. Execute BAU tasks.Solutions: Design solutions cross platform bringing clear business benefit.Roadmaps: Develop technology strategy and roadmaps to ensure clear direction whilst factoring in existing technology investments and the impact of change.Process: Identify process improvements that deliver key business benefits and cost savings.Risk Mitigation: Recognise and mitigate risks on new initiatives and ability to identify risks and remediation plans to existing environments.Change: Drive and co-ordinate changes to ensure minimal business impact and contentionKnowledge Sharing: Cross train, coach and develop other team members.Management: represent Windows technology where required for discussions and decisions.

First Quantum Minerals (FQM) is a global mining company primarily proficient in mining for Copper who also have operations in place that produce Nickel, Gold, Zinc and Platinum.The ICT infrastructure reaches across 27 sites around the globe and provides ICT services for over 6000 Users.The company is growing both naturally and through acquisition as such the business relies heavily on the ICT systems to ensure consistent interaction throughout the FQM Group, and after a concerted effort the Core ICT Infrastructure is now capable of meeting any requirement the Business has.

• Review and approval of technical plans from 3rd party suppliers relating to global integration technologies.• Provide technical ownership of the Global Active Directory environment.• Review and maintain the security model for access and permissions for network resources (between desktop and server devices).• Maintain and develop the network integration technologies including DNS, WINS, Windows Trusts and security scripts.• Liaise with key technical stakeholders across the Hays world to ensure global technical standards and integration technologies are developed and maintained.• Review and maintain the integration for the desktop platform across the Hays environment.• Ensure that procedures are maintained and followed by 3rd party suppliers for application deployment, patching, anti-virus and build revisions (including software and hardware refreshes).• Work with the Enterprise Architect, technical architect, 3rd party suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver appropriate technical solutions as necessary.• Provide technical expertise and consultancy to project teams and other parts of the IT Dept as required.• Contribute to design and architectural discussions and drive the adoption of Global Solutions.• Review and approve change control requests for production technologies proposed by 3rd party suppliers and project teams.• Review and ensure maximum efficiency of user logon and technical security related activities.• Demonstrate and maintain an awareness and understanding of current technical market trends and what is involved in building a scalable, globally integrated and secure architecture.• Manage supplier relationships to maintain up to date knowledge of emerging integration technologies.
