About Craig Carns

Craig has over twenty-five years of experience in information technology and software architecture. He has experience in all aspects of the software life-cycle, but has focused on enterprise software architecture and development. Currently he is working hard to get two new startup companies off the ground, Vettd(AI) and Wealth(PFM). Previously he worked at TaxAct which bought out is first startup company Balance Financial, where he was a founding member, as well as a member of the executive team. At Balance Craig built an online financial SaaS product. The prior eleven years he worked on several multi-year, multi-million dollar projects for agencies of the Department of Defense as a consultant. He has designed and built enterprise applications that are mission critical to daily operations of those agencies. His background also includes strong client management and technical leadership skills.
