Tour Logistics:- Worked with operations team to determine strategic direction and tone for Candidate Tour- Coordinated tour logistics between Operations, Communications, Candidate’s Aide and Riding Captains from across OntarioStrategic Operations:- Developed campaign infrastructure and tools to maximize efficacy of team operations (including schedule/daily itinerary frameworks, databases, communication and accountability protocols)- Designed and executed social media campaign promoting Gerard Kennedy’s brand and message/discourage personalized attacks from other camps

Conducted comprehensive competitor research and analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunity and threats in the Government Relations/Public Relations field to enhance StrategyCorp’s corporate advantage. Researched and analyzed government policies, priorities, programs, issues, legislation and service delivery directives; prepared briefing notes for senior management attending meetings with federal and provincial Cabinet Ministers; facilitated meetings between MPPS and clients. Prepared option papers for senior management regarding new practice-area opportunities.Developed, managed and maintained relationships and coordinated activities between senior management at StrategyCorp and the Government of Ontario.Administrative responsibilities, including: coordinating meetings, developing agendas, client management, creating presentations and developing corporate processes and procedures to improve the office effectiveness and efficiency.

Worked collaboratively with staff in the Premier’s office, minister’s offices, and senior public servants to develop issues management plans and craft key messages for government responses for debates, media inquiries, and stakeholder concerns. Regularly analyzed incoming correspondence and inquiries to the ministry and conducted media monitoring to identify and analyze public opinion, stakeholder positions and media perceptions to develop and implement strategic responses. Wrote a variety of communication materials, including: debate notes, speeches, news releases, backgrounders, communication strategies, correspondence, editorials/op-eds, and event plans. Successfully advocated for the inclusion of three hospital redevelopment projects under ReNew Ontario, the government’s five-year, $30-billion plus infrastructure investment plan. Served as the Coordinator for the Ontario Liberal Rural Caucus; developed the stakeholder facilitation process for this crucial sounding board for political issues going before Caucus and Cabinet. Successfully lobbied on behalf of stakeholders in the MPP’s riding; deliverables include provincial forgiveness of Cornwall’s downtown revitalization loan of $3.7M and other strategic municipal funding initiatives.
