Oversaw the acquisition of a software company providing product configuration tools then ran the product line as Senior Product Manager. Accomplishments include:■ Joined the company at its inception in 1996■ Architected and wrote all back-end systems including admin tools, security and database synchronization ■ Spent 2 ½ years as a Senior Project Manager in the professional services department and supervised the implementation of custom solutions internationally for well over a hundred customers■ Coordinated with people in numerous departments to assist in bringing a new product line to market to handle the e-commerce needs of SalesLogix prior to and after the company’s IPO■ Authored the company’s Project Blueprint, the guide followed for customer engagements■ Met with customers and prospects to assess and document market needs, determine how they might be addressed then prioritize them for development ■ Travelled internationally to train and equip hundreds of resellers to handle customization and maintenance of SalesLogix’s products■ Assisted the sales department by visiting enterprise level prospects to assess their requirements and discuss how they might be solved
