During his career, Chinn has been involved in the design and planning of a wide variety of retail and mixed-use retail/housing/office developments, shopping centers. Chinn has also designed or participated in the design and project management of numerous headquarter buildings and flagship stores for retailers across the country. His design development and construction document expertise has been instrumental in the successful completion of countless projects. Chinn offers considerable knowledge from schematic design through construction administration and value-engineering services. Concentrating on retail and mixed-use projects, Chinn incorporates years of design experience to achieve the client’s goals. He is currently working on a number of renovations and repositioning of vacant or obsolete retail stores and aging shopping centers and regional malls as well as new development projects.

KTGY had success on the developer side but we lacked the smaller and steadier work of the tenants. We have become a more balanced firm servicing both developers and tenants. I focus on business development opportunities with developers and tenants, but still manage selected projects.

Managed multi-family and mixed-use projects from conceptual design well into construction documents. These projects ranged from small urban infill projects to large multi-phased apartment projects. Specialized in on-grade, tuck-under, and podium projects ranging from 18 dwelling units to the acre up to 60+ units per acre. The projects covered Northern California's Bay Area down to San Diego County, and everything in between.

Provided intern level support for the summer. Created models in ArchiCAD, color renderings, site plan and design studies.
