Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 620 not-for-profit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. Team leader and staff development. Management of product marketing and distribution to agencies and other Feeding America members to meet Harvesters overall distribution goals. Develop and maintain agency and food banking relationships and strategic marketing plans for distribution of available product. Assist with the collection data and reporting of outcomes to meet Harvesters strategic requirements. Full-time, temporary position with the United Way during fall fundraising campaign which ends November 16th, 2012. CRCs act as an extension of United Way staff, developing and strengthening relationships between the United Way and local companies, agencies and volunteers. My position specifically deals with management of fulfillment and logistics of campaign materials to minimize waste and coordinate deliveries effectively. Data entry and public speaking as well as other duties as assigned to support the campaign.

Habitat For Humanity Kansas City

• Since 2004 HFHKC has built or rehabbed over 50 homes, focused on cluster building and broke out of its historic building area by working in six different neighborhoods in the 3rd, 5th and 6th KC Council Districts.• Lead presenter or Habitat representative at numerous City and Community meetings, including KCMO City Council, and press spokesperson for Habitat on several occasions.• Project management of non-construction aspects Pritchard Place project HFHKC’s first PIAC Funded, HOME Funded, multi-house project that included street infrastructure.• Wrote successful HUD grants for over $2,000,000 including first HOME Funds received by HFHKC and played a lead or support role in administration and compliance for that funding• Funder outreach and cultivation of partnerships with other non-profits, businesses, individuals and City and County government. • Assisted with planning and executing fundraising events, house blessings and other Habitat events.• Managed and cleaned up excess property portfolio while initiating relationships throughout the community resulting in the donation of dozens of houses to other non-profits and neighborhood developers or sales that brought funding to the affiliate.• Drafted long range build plan based on funding, land inventory, donation and property acquisition opportunities and construction logistics.• Lead role in City Planning process and assisted in house designs.• Assisted with all aspects of affiliate operations, administration and fundraising.

• HFHKC’s first Construction Operations Manager with responsibilities that included but were not limited to budgeting, coordinating reports, meetings and calendars; monthly executive reports; staff licensing and continuing education; safety training and OSHA compliance; vehicle licensing; street permitting for dumpsters and mobile storage and other aspects of affiliate operations as I saw necessary.• Achieved Residential Contractor License and helped affiliate refocus on cluster building, start building Energy Star rated houses and build first LEED house.• Affiliate built six different house designs including Universal Design and accessible floor plans using both Integrated Concrete Forms and traditional wood frame construction.

Including but not limited to foundation work, framing, roofing, flat work, dry wall, siding, painting, landscaping and other duties as assigned.• Led volunteer groups in construction, rehabilitation and other community projects
