Since March 2010 I've been working for EHS Support Services. We are a leader in mental health skill-building, support, and crisis stabilization services for Roanoke, Lynchburg, Martinsville and the New River Valley and surrounding areas of Virginia. I design, develop, and implement digital assets for our website, email marketing campaigns, as well internal document access, training and testing systems. I also design and produce original content for all materials maintaining company branding in print as well as digital platforms. I worked for two years as a designer and prepress tech for a medium-sized commercial printer. I learned from everyone there from the manager to all of the press operators. I literally got to follow my designs from my computer all the way to the press. Working closely with the press operators gave me valuable experience in how designs are successfully reproduced on all types of papers and other substrates.
