Service was number one in those days.It also included Storeman duties such as receiving goods from our suppliers, making sure these were invoiced and packed away in store.I also helped our Fruit and Veg department to display the fruit and veg on the Supermarket floor.I also was required to make sure the groceries for the week were placed in such a way that it captured the customer's attention by building and maintaining displays of weekly specials.
