Key responsibilities included successfully developing and implementing a number of ‘leading edge’ media projects, establishing technical and operational performance standards, technical and operational budgets, and implementation and maintenance of EU, UK, and Dutch compliance and reporting schemes.This included leading the design, development, and construction of the DMC, Liberty Global’s origination and digital distribution platform. This was one of the earliest large-scale totally tapeless broadcast and post production environments anywhere in the media industry (as of late 1998). Also included were integrated DAM and channel management capabilities (multi-language), and the supporting architecture for, and development of, advanced end-to-end tapeless broadcast, production, and post-production work-flows. He led the commercial development, design, and build of UPC's broadcast and DTH satellite uplink facilities in the Netherlands (two sites), the Czech Republic, and Hungary.Craig also led the transactional technology steering group, tasked to research and develop various VOD, SVOD and IP based services and delivery technologies and models. This included evangelising corporate technology strategies and road maps to various internal business units for the development and deployment of advanced IP based entertainment and broadband delivered consumer data products. -
