My philosophy on learning is derived from my genuine passion to be an educator. This is based on my experience and understanding in my subject majors from a professional workplace over many years. "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” (Nelson Mandela). If I can do anything to contribute to the education of children – then I want to be a part of it.I have a great deal of real-world technical expertise and knowledge from around the world that I bring to the classroom. This allows me to provide constructivist pedagogy to my teaching in the classroom. I am sure that my students will benefit from this advantage, with me as their teacher. My vast knowledge and experience, in addition to my MBA, teaching, and other qualifications, combined with exceptional communication skills, have enabled me to strategically develop many environments over the years. These include Seymour College, Telstra, Qantas, National Australia Bank, Federal Government and the WA Department of Education. My work enabled them all to implement visionary outcomes and achievements. However, I am much more than a well-educated and experienced education professional. As a technologist, visionary and teacher, I am experienced in the latest technologies, allowing me to use Information Technology to improve pedagogy, which significantly contributes to the achievement of learning in the classroom. When combined with my teaching and management skill, this type of knowledge allows me to give a unique level of direction to education leaders and students: one that not only gives direction, but also fosters creative and innovative learning.
