I taught young professionals the art of telling a compelling story with video by providing them with the fundamentals of storytelling, video production, audio and lighting, post-production, and digital distribution. We delved into film terminology, theory, and technique in the pursuit of telling stories that will change people, all done with an emphasis on hands-on learning through apprenticeships to better equip and prepare them for a career.

I was the initial contact that our producers (clients) had with our production team, working to ensure that their vision was carried out, that each project was well organized and assigned to the appropriate creatives, and that, most importantly, their message was communicated in a real, simple, fun, fresh, and clever way. I was also one of our primary videographers and editors, handling the production and post-production for a variety of projects, as well as our motion graphics animator.

“Her Little Soldier” is a short autobiography written in honor of my mother, chronicling the early years of my journey as a Type 1 Diabetic. Using journal entries written throughout my ordeal, I share the trials faced and lessons learned from living with an incurable disease and how to recognize the blessings that can come from them.
