Leading the Strategy team in Sydney and heading up strategy for the Defence Force Recruiting account out of Melbourne. My remit covers Brand work and CX, and most importantly the intersection of the two.During this time I also worked on a wide array of VMLY&R Clients that helped me play roles in launching neo banks, creating loyalty schemes, creating new retail experiences, starting habits and building brands for clients like Pizza Hut, Rip Curl, Teachers Mutual Bank, Colgate, Lion Nathan and McDonald's.

After a few months freelancing I joined R/GA on a long-term contract to lead the Strategy and Marketing Science teams, work directly on key clients (Telstra, Samsung, Toyota, Google, NRL) and provide direction for successful new business pitches (Australian Wine, Parramatta Eels). During this time the Agency was shortlisted twice for Agency of the Year (B&T, AdNews) and rolled out it's Business Transformation (consultancy) offering.

During this time I was called in by multiple top-tier Sydney Agencies (R/GA, VML, We are Social, The Hallway) to come in and assist with critical strategic projects and pitches.

In this role I was responsible for the Agency's work output, leading a team of 20+ strategists, creatives, makers and project managers. Developed a new core business philosophy of 'people first wins' and team structure of autonomous team 'circles'. Defined suite of rapid, collaborative products and led the team in developing processes for each product and rolling out for Clients. Retained multiple 'at risk' accounts and brought in significant new business opportunities.

In this role, I was charged with modernising the digital offering of the 6 Specialist PR businesses (OPR, Pulse, Howorth, Ogilvy PR Health, Parker & Partners, and Ogilvy Impact) that sit within the Ogilvy PR group and leading the Social@Ogilvy practice in Australia. During this time the agency portfolio had a very successful awards year and multiple 'PR Agency of the year' nomination.

I returned Agency-side to lead the digital strategy team and join the digital leadership at Havas during the most successful two years of the agency's history, during which it picked up many awards including NSW agency of the year, a black D&AD Pencil, A Cannes effectiveness Lion, and a Webby Award. Later, the agency picked up the Australian Grand Effie for long-term effects for Defence Force Recruitment, based on a strategic approach I established during my tenure.

At this point, my role was broadened to include digital marketing strategy alongside social. I helped the business move beyond pure DR to adopt an adoption funnel approach, while our Brand Social channels grew to make Foxtel one of the most influential Australian brands on Facebook.

I was given the honour of being Foxtel's first Social Media Lead and given the task to manage their fledgeling brand channels, set up policies and governance, and introduce the business to community management and social service.

I managed the launch of several new innovation products at Foxtel, including their first IPTV products Foxtel on XBOX, Foxtel Go and Foxtel Play.
