While the demand for energy continues to increase, the toll on the environment, energy grid, and financial resources continue to be strained. Decarbonising energy is critical for our future.Skai Energies has been developed by Craig to provide support to organisations in decarbonising their operations. It works with its clients to establish renewable energy concept solutions (2 under assessment, 1 sold), that can then be presented to stakeholders for commercial application. This work includes the creation of Operational and Financial Models that demonstrate how their business could commercially function in a decarbonised state, along with supplying core equipment through Skai's preferred partner OEMs (electrolysis and storage equipment, final Australian approval pending), and managing third party procurement needs from new energy suppliers across the world.

Mack Valves was established in 1939, and has become a player in the global valve industry. It supplies solution across the Cryogenic, Water Management, Fire Protection, and General Industry spaces. An ownership change in 2013, created an opportunity for Craig to take a strong legacy and history in the Mack brand, and create an organisation that could disrupt the global industry and continue to provide Australian business with high quality, dependable and customer focussed Australian manufactured product. With the increasing importance of water management, and evolution of the Hydrogen economy, Craig positioned Mack to play a strong part of these future industries. Using the strength of the Herose Group that was brought into the organisation by Craig to further expand Mack's exposure on the international stage, supported Mack in further building its legacy and establishing a true global footprint for future generations.

With a focus on business growth and employee accountability, Craig worked with organisations to implement core tools and processes that aided them in building a foundation for growth. Taking on Mack Valves as a client, saw Craig recruited into the business as Managing Director, to make the transformation.

Leica Microsystems GmbH is a manufacturer of optical microscopes headquartered in Wetzlar, Germany. It formed the basis if the Danaher Group's (Fortune 150 company) Life Sciences platform, when acquired in 2005. It generated revenues in excess of US$1.3B, as a designer and manufacturer of class leading equipment for the preparation of microscopic specimens and related products. There are ten plants in eight countries with distribution partners in over 100 countries.Craig began his work with Leica Microsystems, developing and implementing a global talent management program. After the initial implementation phase, Craig was given responsibility for Human Resources leadership in Asia Pacific and Global Operations. This responsibility led to providing key support to the Global VP Operations and regional Asia Sales Units, in development of operational strategy, execution, and support in achievement of operational performance metrics.

The Electronic Systems Divisions (ESD) of the Tenix Group was a $185M+ software and systems specialist, working across Command/Communications/Info/Control, Surveillance/Reconnaissance, Electronic Warfare, Laser Survey, and Radar Support. It was centred around defence projects developing new technological solutions across the defence force platforms, competing against large multinational businesses such as BAE and Raytheon. It's success against the major players saw it grow continuously at 20+% year on year.Craig was brought in to establish a human resources function, to support the fast growth of the organisation. This included performance tools, efficiency and growth processes, and establish core behaviour that would attract, grow and retain critical employees. With this being a new function, Craig was required to quickly demonstrate the value such a function would bring to business unit leaders.

SOLA International was a leading global designer and manufacturer of ophthalmic and sun lenses. With revenues in excess of US$600M and 2,500 employees worldwide, the business was headquartered in Silicon Valley with sales offices and factories spread across the world.With the success of business partnering into the Research function of the Group, Craig was seconded to the Corporate office, to support the Head of Central/South American business, GM Sunlens Business, Global VP Finance and broader corporate HR activities. Early work was in developing sales processes for the Latin businesses to support increased sales growth, while supporting the restructure of the Sunlens operation.

The Adelaide site was 1 of 5 biscuit manufacturers for Arnott's, and the prime manufacturer of chocolate for the national business, producing in excess of 60t per week. It's production line was focussed on a number of core products, with the site employing a mix of manual and robotic resources.As Craig's first professional HR role, he became responsible for general operations recruitment, and training and development of Team Leaders within the business.
