He Adviser (West)
The West of England and Wales have been were target markets for UEA. My starting brief was to establish contact with schools and create new relationships with the aim of being invited to HE Fairs or to present to students to enhance recruitment potential and raise the profile of UEA. Through engaging with key contacts, showing genuine interest in them and adapting my communication style, I managed to win over some very high profile school staff and my school numbers have been boosted as a result. Delivery of excellent customer service has helped maintain those relationships beyond the initial meeting by managing expectations, communicating well, providing solutions and fulfilling promises.Targets were beaten at UEA. I was charged with a target of engaging with 25 new schools a year. In 2 years, I managed to engage with around 100.My work at UEA saw me manage budgets for my EU work and other projects. Through a high level of numeracy and strong business acumen, I delivered all projects within budget. Again with EU recruitment, targets were beaten, increasing applications from Lithuania and Latvia by 135% and 80% respectively.Project management was a part of my job too. I oversaw the writing of a newsletter for parents which ties in with key dates in the recruitment cycle. I also assisted with the editing of a website for teachers and influencers to raise the profile of UEA and make us the first port of call for all HE queries.Additionally I oversaw recruitment in Lithuania, Latvia, Greece and Cyprus, working with our agents and partners to ensure strong recruitment.
Marketing & Liaison
This was a maternity cover contract intended to give me marketing experience. Here I oversaw all written publications including the prospectus and leaflets to promote courses and give guidance on applications.I managed the college website, uploading new stories, pictures and videos to answer the most common queries. All written items were created to tight deadlines giving me the chance to hone my time management skills. In addition to my regular duties, I also ran events at the college including awards ceremonies, open days and music concerts.

In October 2013 I decided to wrap up work at Arbour Productions to focus on a career in schools liaison.Projects completed include;- Donna-Marie (musician) Electronic Press Kit- Phil Maddocks (musician) EPK- Sumo Kings (musician) EPK- Staffordshire Picnic Project Summary DVD- APEX Project Summary DVD- Romeo & Juliet GCSE Video Recording- Co-Operative Film School Project with Brownhills School (Stoke-on-Trent)- Staffordshire University Summer School Film Project
