Key Accomplishments: - Assumed responsibility for a distressed business and developed a strategy to improve financial performance, quality performance and employee engagement. Within the first-year financial performance improved from a loss of $21M in 2011 to a profit of $13M in 2012, quality performance improved resulting in stronger customer relationships, and employee engagement improved reducing employee turnover. Reporting to the Group President, consolidated financial results for Transmission Group facilities and provided forecasting, financial and managerial reporting. Shortly after starting in this role I was tasked with developing a turnaround strategy to improve profitability, quality performance and employee engagement at the Linamar Gear facility.
