After a short but intense campaign, the team and I increased the LibDem vote share from 21.3% in 2017 to 33.1% of the vote. A great step forward to potentially taking the seat in a future election.

Having run my first online gaming league (over dialup modem) and "LAN party" in 1994, I founded Multiplay is 1997 as a games-orientated event management company, with a primary focus on running "LAN parties" and the very early days of "Esports". Over the intervening years the company has transformed and diversified; the "Insomnia" events now nicknamed the "Glastonbury of Gaming" with many thousands of visitors, large exhibition, televised stage with tournament finals and a real festival feel. They are now one of the largest festivals of any kind in the UK, attracting hundreds of thousands of people a year.In 2002 the main diversification of Multiplay began, into the online hosting of games. This saw tremendous growth, including the starting of our own ISP network in 2004, to the multi-continent setup and tens of thousands of servers. Multiplay now offers hosting worldwide, both for consumers and developers/publishers alike and are chosen as the official trusted host by many companies both for their games and communities. In particular, our Clanforge product has been the backbone of a number of game launches, most notably Titanfall 2 in 2016. Multiplay expanded the contract events and hardware rentals business (www.multiplayevents.com), offering solutions ranging from the execution of small press events, to stage management and live streaming, right up to large consumer expos. Our most notable achievements to date have been the running of Minecon (the world record holding official event for Minecraft) since 2012 and Runefest since 2013. Multiplay was acquired by GAME Digital PLC in March 2015. I stayed on as CEO to continue to lead the growth of the company to a new level.

I setup Tsunami alongside Multiplay as a general IT consultancy and service provider. We handled a wide range of IT projects from systems and network installations to general IT support. Clients ranged from construction companies to barrister firms in London.
