Sr Sales Engineer
CurrentPrimary technical resource for Sonim's global sales force. Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales teams as the key technical advisor and product advocate. Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle including providing post-sales support when required.· Work with product and sales teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver solutions with the end goal of sales in mind.· Demonstrate an understanding of what the customer will need in terms of ongoing support and manage expectations of the customer and sales organization.· Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects.· Successfully tailor demonstrations for customers, trade shows, and special events.· Work closely with customers to set up and maintain a successful demo period. Be the customer's advocate by answering any questions and address any issues encountered as needed.· Determine and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings or other client benefits.· Work with the client to problem-solve through every hurdle during the sales process.· Develop written and video presentation training content for customer training and self-support.· Gather customer feedback and provide feedback to the R&D to ensure products are being improved and developed to serve current and future customers.· Provide clear and accurate responses for RFPs and/or contribute technical solutions directly to proposals.· Work in tandem with the sales team on presentations to ensure accuracy.
