I embarked on my career in the hospitality industry after leaving school and home in Year 10, gaining valuable experience working with various esteemed hotel chains. However, my relentless pursuit of knowledge led me to a transformative decision as I returned to university as a mature age student to immerse myself in the world of law. During this time, I also dedicated my weekends to the dynamic realm of land sales, collaborating with a prominent developer and builders in Canberra.In 2004, my entrepreneurial spirit took flight as I channelled my energies towards the inception of Gemmill Homes. Over the course of 15 years, I played a pivotal role as the Managing Director of the company, leaving an indelible mark on the construction and real estate industry.In 2019, I took an audacious leap, choosing to step away from Gemmill Homes to embark on a new phase of my career. Drawing upon 30 years of diverse business experiences, I transitioned into the realm of consulting, where I now assist a wide array of businesses in crafting strategies and achieving growth. My unique perspective, informed by the establishment of my own winery and exposure to a myriad of industries beyond construction, equips me to swiftly discern and provide invaluable counsel to businesses of all kinds.I firmly believe that the school of life imparts lessons that are both costly and priceless. My passion for business and personal growth is evident not only in my professional endeavours but also in my personal pursuits. I have pushed my physical limits by completing several marathons, trekked the challenging Kokoda Trail, endured the Sandakan Death March, and have held the title of a divemaster for an impressive 23 years.
