Responsible for the delivery of OI’s Global Programme, including Innovate UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme. Responsibilities include agreeing and managing budgets across multiple projects, managing resources, ensuring that the projects are delivered to time and quality and the financial audit at the end of each project. In addition, business development to ensure the future of OI’s global programme and stakeholder relations are key responsibilities.

The analysis results in coaching to address the concerns, which I oversee to ensure it meets the needs of the business and the requirements of the EC. - Business coach for Innovate 2 Succeed, an innovative service which aims to quickly help businesses commercialise their products and services internationally. I have mentored boards of directors of companies with turnovers in excess of £5 million, providing results and client satisfaction. This involves working closely with the board, assessing a range of business operations, including strategy, and understanding what their barriers are to growth. - Represent the UK on the Environment Sector Group, which is the link between the European Union and environmental businesses. I am a well known member of the group, representing the South East and the UK at the twice yearly meetings and relaying pertinent information to clients and Innovate UK. - I forge collaboration between UK businesses and partners from around the world through the EEN platform. My successes include linking an innovative medical technology company in the UK with European hospitals, which has accelerated their time to market and increase the revenue for some of my clients by identifying customers, which ended in signed contracts. Isle Utilities is a clean-tech consultancy, primarily (but not exclusively) focussed on water technology transfer between countries. As I grew within the company, my roles changed, but included: - verifying whether new technologies were innovative, had a competent business plan and were able to either reduce water utility costs (OPEX or CAPEX) or treat previously untreatable contaminants, such as metaldehyde. This required an in-depth scientific knowledge of treatment mechanisms. - Help grow Isle into new territories through the launch of new TAG programmes, technology evaluation and technical due diligence for clients. - mentor junior members of the team on technical issues, statistical analysis and project management. - project manage technology trials for multiple water utilities - successfully sell Isle's capabilities to prospective clients, not just in the UK but across the world. - work with corporate investors to evaluate new technologies which are looking for funding and investment. - conduct market scoping studies for advanced technologies looking to enter a new market. This included reviewing their regulations, the UK's and performing an analysis of the effects of changing some of the areas of concern in Australia to the UK system. - senior analyst for Identiflow, an innovative technology which allows water utilities to monitor household water use. This included selling the system and projects, analysing the results and mentoring junior colleagues. - devise a method of monitoring pressure waves in pipes and the effects of opening and closing valves. - statistical analysis of water efficient technologies and tariffs, which was used by water utilities so they could understand which technologies and water charging combination saw customers use the least water with highest satisfaction rates.
