    The Tippecanoe County Historical Association oversees and operates the Tippecanoe Battlefield of 1811, the battlefield museum, a separate genealogy center, a re-constructed Colonial Blockhouse site, and a large Native American and Colonial Trading Post archaeological park. The organization is also host to the "Feat of the Hunter's Moon" every fall. It is the largest annual living history festival in the mid-west attracting more than 40,000 visitors each year.

This beautiful historic site sits on 23 acres and includes a circa 1870 Miller's house and post office, a Colonial era Spring House, and restored 19th Century Carriage House and Chicken Coop that has been converted into a small education center for children. I resigned my position there in May of 2015 in order to help take care of my father who had terminal cancer.

It is visited by more than 35,000 visitors a year. I had to resign my position in order to relocate to Lake Tahoe, Nevada where my wife had taken a new job.
