I am the shop superintendent and production manager at Ahner Industrial and have worked with the company for over 25 years. I am very career oriented and constantly work to increase sales and production at Ahner Industrial. As my wife puts it, I take "talking shop" to the next level.My career at Ahner Fabricating and Sheet Metal (as it was called back then) started in 1988 as an apprentice. For me, it was "sheet metal layout 101". I spent my days doing hand layouts and hand cutting of transitions and elbows. Thankfully, by 2004, our first plasma with canned fittings arrived and ended those days forever. As new machinery and new techniques came about, I mastered all of them and began training employees which lead to a managers position.By 2010, I was promoted to shop superintendent which basically made me the "human JobBoss". My responsibilities increased to basically running the shop, the scheduling, the employees, the machinery, the software and much more. In the past several years, we have done a major addition to our job shop, added a Mitsubishi laser, increased production and thus, increased sales.Specialties: AutoCAD, Solidworks, JobBoss, shipping/receiving, fabricating, welding, bending, forming, laser, plasma, assembly, maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, training, hiring.
