Director of Strategy and Operations of the Savic Integrative Pharmacology Laboratory within the Bioengineering & Therapeutic Sciences Department of the Schools of Pharmacy & Medicine.- Oversee complex, cross-team, research lab-wide projects and initiatives- Research, perform benchmarking, analyze data, and make recommendations for expanding research laboratory activity and global presence in pharmacometrics (infectious diseases)- Propose the creation of new systems and processes to streamline operations- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the overall lab function and capacity - Brainstorm and identify solutions to lab and research challenges- Organize laboratory retreats, conferences, and other special events- Lead annual strategic planning process and ensuring alignment across research teams and the PI- Help determine key performance indicators and maintain outcome metrics- Manage hiring process in partnership with HR- Work with PI and research leads to identify, set, and maintain research priorities- Plan and direct administrative and operational activities- Provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance- Facilitate efficient decision-making- Ensure that the PI’s involvement in project or decision-making processes takes place at the most efficient and effective time, as well as triage and handle non-critical decisions to avoid distractions- Manage internal and external communications
