Tagging systems such as adhesive labels on pipe routes and plastic traffolyte identification plates have been seen to degrade over time when subject to process conditions, becoming unrecognisable and therefore causing potential safety, compliance or food safety issues.The iDS marking system uses the process of electrolytic marking. Current and electrolyte are used to produce the identifying mark. The electrolyte is a neutral saline solution, it is not harmful and does not pose a food safety risk.The mark generated by the process will not fall off, degrade, corrode or become a food safety hazard like other forms of identification. The mark can be removed if required by concentrated abrasion of the marked surface. Show less
