I was an events assistant for the first two seasons of the Wellington Phoenix FC football franchise. This role included sourcing and managing game day volunteers, game day operations and promotions, and arranging community visits.This was a volunteer position.

The Word Collective was a collective of spoken word artists in Wellington. As Creative Director I was responsible for programming, publicity, event management and funding/sponsorship. This was a volunteer position.The Collective's biggest achievements were the Word Festivals (2003-2005); free public poetry festivals with over 1,000 people attending each event. In 2004 and 2005 two shows written and produced by myself won The Best of The Fringe Awards in the Wellington Fringe Festival; SK8Board Poets (2004) and Karaoke Poetry (2005). The group has now disbanded.
