Led a staff of 8 supporting a distributed and redundant Network Management System consisting of 24 UNIX and 3 NT servers collecting and alarming on fault, performance, capacity, accounting and security data across 2500+ routers and 3500+ switches across 1000+ sites and multiple datacenters.- Established Service Level Measurements (SLMs) to trigger real-time monitoring and process alarming raising uptime and reliability above 99.5%.- Prioritized projects and based $12M budget on SLMs.
