I started at Auto Direct in August 1997 in the Sales Dept. Over the coming years I learnt my trade, and helped out in both the Renewals and Customer Services dept.In 1999 I was selected to work closely with an underwriter who came into our office and I helped in assessing the risk and putting forward rate proposals.I moved back into the sales team for a number of years and was promoted the elite team for a long period, coinciding with this, i became a senior member of staff - assisting and helping the team manager in the day to day running of the team and in the training of new and existing staff.In 2005 I was promoted to sales team manager and continually achieved targets.In 2006, a position as renewal team manager became available and I was selected to fulfill this role. Once again I took hold of the role and relished the experiences, achieved target set by myself and the company. The team I managed consisted of around 20 members and I was responsible for their targets and performance monitoring and feedback.
