My career began in the late '90s as a front-end web developer, a role that I held until 2013. That year, I shifted gears and launched one of the world’s first social co-working spaces, the Commodore Room—a blend of desk rentals for freelancers and corporate remote workers, with weekly cocktail networking events and pop-ups across Europe.As a bridge between then and now, I began hosting events for select brands in the global spirits and hospitality sectors, which I still do to this day.Today, I own and run Electric Eel, a bar/café/gallery located on Karlsruhe's Werderplatz. Most mornings, you’ll find me there before opening, scrubbing the floors and cleaning the toilets.Since November 2023, I've also taken on the role of Hospitality Director at the Kinemathek, Karlsruhe's communal cinema, where I host a weekly cocktail-meets-secret cinema event, aptly titled Speakeasy Cinema.
