Now managing Louis family holdings, our privately held portfolio of real estate and financial investments, including ongoing involvement in community and professional associations.Previously, in charge of winding up Louis Equipment Company, Inc., one of the oldest ship chandlers on the west coast of the United States, Primary activities included supervising marine and industrial hardware sales and sourcing, surplus equipment sales, and hands on running of film and television production theatrical properties rental and sales. After a 68 year business run, changes in the marine equipment and nautical theatrical props industry indicated a change away from day to day commerce and a change to managing our real estate and investment holdings.Prior to Louis Equipment, over two decades in technical publications, with particular experience in development of publications processes from initial draft through production. Writing experience includes user manuals, Help systems, product Quick Tours, user interface documentation, service manuals, and installation and configuration instructions. Major experience since 1996 on contract assignments performed as a principal of Causeway, Inc. Substantial volunteer experience mediating and translating foreign student relations issues on behalf of Indonesian social organization (See PGB, below).Specialties: Technical writing and publications development, including instructional design, UI and UX design support, and process development. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, with ongoing interest in Indonesian current events and IT development.
